Creative Transitions Core Group

Creative Transitions Core Group is where young people (16 to 25 years) with additional needs can come together to make music, theatre, drama, film and multimedia every week during term time. The course offers a rotating programme of a range of art forms providing an introduction to the arts over the course of one year, with the opportunity to progress to further arts courses at Castaway Music Theatre or beyond.

For those interested in developing leadership skills there are opportunities to progress to leading arts outreach by the end of the year and/ or gain a nationally recognised Arts Award qualification, developing arts leadership, skills and knowledge.

We offer specialist teaching from industry professionals and education specialists, a purpose equipped space, a vocational approach and many opportunities for additional projects such as being involved in a professional level show, performing in the community, volunteering, mentorship opportunities and more.
