Castaway Music Theatre is an arts charity based in Goole, East Yorkshire, creating life-changing opportunities for young people and adults with learning and physical disabilities, autism conditions and mental health difficulties. We offer weekly performing, training, educational and recreational opportunities in music, drama, contemporary dance, film and multimedia, led by professional artists working with participants from the 360° surrounding rural areas and across the region.

Arts Pathways for 16+
Supporting young people with additional needs who want to engage with the arts as a fundamental part of their journey into adulthood
Creative Transitions brings young people together for arts education, training, workplace and recreational opportunities alongside school, college and beyond, working locally through outreach, digitally and at Castaway, Goole.
Creative opportunities in performing, skill building and devising new work: for anyone with disabilities who wants to act, dance and make music, film, multimedia theatre.
Castaway Music Theatre offers three activity strands running side by side: the main performing company with Sing community choir; the Academy for day-time courses in separate art forms; and two Youth groups – Sloop Music and Youth Theatre – rehearsing on Saturdays.
Taking part in a Castaway group is a unique experience, a way to achieve more creatively than you ever imagined.
